By June 12th, sophomore year will be officially over. A lot can happen in a year. I met one of my best friends. I participated in Future Teachers of America. I was able to teach five year olds. It was a great experience. I have a lot of respect for teachers now. I went into competition for Future Business Leaders of America and made it to nationals. I never knew I would’ve made it so far. In September, I finally let go of my first love. As impossible as it seemed to be. I used the heartache to my advantage and I turned him down every time he came back to me. I went to parties with people who I never thought I’d be friends with again. I turned sixteen. I went to New York City. I had my heart broken a total of three times this year. My friend of about six years moved to Florida. I had a duet in my indoor color guard show. I found out I’m going to be an aunt and a god mother. I passed my written driver test. I got a job at Domino’s. I went to Myrtle Beach during my Spring Break. I became captain of the color guard along with two of my friends. I got a lot closer to some old friends. I am happy to say that this year is over and I have my summer and Junior year to look forward to. I cannot wait.
